| The mission of Women's Ministry is to fulfill the great commission of Jesus, by ministering to women and girls and training them to minister to others. |
|
|
What Is Women's Ministries? Women's Ministries is the collection of ministries sponsored and carried out by the women in the Assemblies of God fellowship. Our mission is for women to join TOGETHER to touch the world with God's love, forgiveness and reconciliation...
What Can Women's Ministries Do For You? We seek to provide the missing element to individual women who sense an unmet need in one or more areas of their lives.
- A relationship with GOD
- An opportunity for SERVICE
- An opportunity to grow in FAITH
- A place for Christian FELLOWSHIP
Local Women's Ministries Chapters The membership of our Women's Ministries is made up of women from local Assemblies of God churches in the New Jersey area and throughout the nation. Through the efforts of district Women's Ministries, women are touching the world. Call a local Assembly of God church in your area to find out their activity schedule.

VFCC-Valley Forge Christian College Scholarships - It is a privilege for the WM Department to award students in good standing, scholastically, and spiritually, a monetary gift to be awarded to their account second semester.
Home Missions - Each year an amount is designated for the New Church planning to purchase land or buildings. The Home Missions Project will be to support the ministry of the MacDonald's from Collingswood.
World Missions - At the time of the NJ Missions Tour a check is given to each missionary to help provide household appliances (ex: refrigerator, stove, etc.).
Life Line - An avenue to provide support for the NJ District Women's Ministry Department and a National Project. "The Global Literacy Project" has been established for the training of national leaders to teach the illiterate of their country so they can in turn read their Bible.
Monies will be collected through your individual church in any creative way you choose. The new projects will be presented each year in October at the Retreat. This will enable your church to work on your fundraising from that following January through December. All monies will need to sent to the District WM Department by no later than January 31st. |

Guidelines for the Master's Card
1. Gift cards / certificates should be in denominations of $25.00, $50.00 and $100.00.
2. Make sure that stores from which to purchase gift cards / certificates are readily available in the area and would provide a variety of products and price ranges:
a. Wal-Mart b. Target c. JC Penney d. Sears e. Staples f. Home Depot
3. Gift cards / certificates should have no expiration date.
4. Gift cards / certificates should be submitted with no designation to a specific Missionary, but should have a designation from the church to receive credit.
This will enable the Woman's Ministries Department to keep a record of giving and provide the missionary with a church to which they can send thanks.
PROCEDURE: Missionaries will be invited for a Commissary day in which they take care of business. We will spend time with them in prayer and they will join us for lunch.
A record of the gifts will be made and the churches would be notified of what Missionary received their gift. This will provide personal link to the missionary.
BENEFITS:
1. It will eliminate the space required for storing the items.
2. It will eliminate the time involved in transporting, moving, displaying and rearranging the items.
3. It will eliminate items that may have a limited shelf-life and items that become outdated and self-worn.
4. Missionaries will have the opportunity to buy just what they want. This could include color schemes for home items, quality preferences and choices in specialty items if that is the need. |

| Partnership Form |
Why Partner???? Your partnership does two things.......
1. It allows us to keep our records up-to-date. We need to know who is the current leader of your ladies group and how to keep in contact with her.
2. The partnership FEE allows us to cover mailing and printing costs. You receive numerous mailings and posters of upcoming WM events to display in your churches.
The minimal fee of $25.00 (per church...not per lady!) is a cost effective way to ensure that you continue to be informed |
